OHAUS is proud to announce the launch of its latest digital portable scale for lab, industrial and food service applications: the Ohaus Valor 3000 Xtreme digital compact scale. The Valor 3000 Xtreme combines the durability of a full stainless steel housing with the accuracy of the Scout Pro series, delivering precision up to 20,000 d.

Standard Features

Extreme Design Extreme design means that OHAUS took a clean sheet and focused on offering the most durable and portable scale product available. Full T304 stainless steel housing – top and bottom -- with added chemical resistance in the keypad and removable stainless steel weighing pan are durable and easy to clean. The Valor 3000 Xtreme is NSF listed, USDA approved and supports HACCP systems. For use in wet applications, the Valor 3000 Xtreme offers NEMA 4X/IP65 water-resistant models.
Extreme Protection Along with its stainless steel design, the Valor 3000 Xtreme offers technically-advanced overload protection rated at 10x capacity, ideal for rough environments where the capacity is frequently exceeded.
Extreme Performance The Valor 3000 Xtreme offers resolutions to 20,000d, providing precise measurements in demanding environments. The OHAUS QuadraStance™ design with four large, adjustable rubber feet ensures firm contact with the benchtop. User-selectable filtering, auto-zero tracking and stability settings allow the Valor 3000 Xtreme to operate accurately in drafty and unstable environments.
Extremely Friendly OHAUS’ SmarText™ user interface utilizes a bright, backlit LCD and simple text prompts to guide users through application use and scale setup, making the Valor 3000 Xtreme very easy to use.

Application Modes

Each Valor 3000 Xtreme comes with software designed for simple use and maximum throughput:

Percentage Weighing
This mode is great for compounding, mixing ingredients and formulation, allowing users to compare the weight of a sample as a percentage of a reference weight. This function allows for quick portioning and checking of multiple sample weights against a target, as well as for quickly preparing multiple samples of the same size. The Valor 3000 Xtreme can automatically compute Baker’s Percentages for use in retail bread baking and other foodservice applications.

Specific Gravity Determination
This mode is perfect for rapidly and easily determining the specific gravity of a sample without the need for manual calculations. Not only can this be critical in materials testing, it is also useful for checking the density and aeration of mixes and products for food processing and foodservice applications.

	French Fries Holder Model 80251148 - $35.10 Used for weighing french fries, onion rings, tacos, and other foodservice items which are required to remain upright during weighing. This stainless steel accessory is a single pan which clips over the stainless steel platform of the Valor 3000 Xtreme. The dimensions of the front “wall” of the holder is 4.75in (12.1cm) wide by 1.13in (2.9cm) high. The dimensions of the back “wall” is 4.75in (12.1cm) wide by 2.75in (7cm) high. The distance between the front and back walls is 3.5in (8.9cm). This accessory comes packaged in a polybag with padding and label.
	Ice Cream Cone Holder Model 80251149 - $35.10 Used for weighing ice cream, frozen custard, gelati, and other foodservice items where the cone has to be held to keep the item upright. This stainless steel accessory is a single pan which clips over the stainless steel platform of the Valor 3000 Xtreme. The upper platform measures 5.9in (15cm) wide by 3.5in (8.9cm) deep. There are two holes in the upper platform, one 2.25in (5.7cm) and the other 1.5in (3.8cm). The height of the upper platform is 4in (10.2cm) above the lower platform. This accessory comes packaged in a polybag with padding and label.
