Sartorius
PMA-7500 Series Explosion Proof Paint Mixing Scales
Sartorius PMA7500 Paint-Mixing Scales meet all requirements
when it comes to mixing paints fast, reliably and accurately
under tough ambient conditions. All components of the compact
and rugged housings are resistant to solvents. The round stainless
steel weighing pan is easy to clean and features a wrap-around
design. This means it has an overlapping rim that protects
the weighing system all-around against dirt and spillage. Moreover,
the scale is protected against overloads. Whether you operate
the display and control unit with thinner-stained gloves or
paint-blotched fingers, you won’t have to worry about
damaging the keypad overlay. Its advanced, easy to-clean design
protects the key labeling from obliteration by paint jobs.

Sartorius
FC-series Explosion Proof Scales
Sartorius FC-series explosion proof scales are
designed for use in ISO-certified production. For weighing
hazardous liquids, solids or gases, the Sartorius line of explosion-proof
scales can satisfy most of your stringent requirements. Because
the scale is intrinsically safe there is no need for a bulky
containment housing for most installations. All FC Series
are ruggedly built with stainless steel platforms, strong cast
aluminum housing and IP-54 rated against spills.
Sartorius FC-series explosion proof scales feature
the built-in isoTEST function: at the touch of a key, the scale
calibrates and adjusts itself automatically using a built-in
calibration weight. The scale is ruggedly constructed, and
thanks to the easy-to-understand operator guidance features,
ease of operation is assured. Sartorius FC series scales also
feature practical application programs and menu-driven operator
guidance. The scales also feature product data memory and configuration
options for customizing printouts. Binary interface for controlling
external devices is a standard feature with Sartorius FC-series
scales
The Sartorious explosion proof scales boast practical
application programs, and allow for complex tasking by combining
application programs. Display prompts are in plain English.
Input of manufacturing data is convenient: use the bar code
scanner and/or a PC keyboard. And the high-contrast display
continuously shows the maximum weighing capacity and the resolution.
Look to Sartorius FC-series explosion proof scales for precise,
yet fast weighing results. All Sartorius explosion proof scales
come with a two year factory warranty.
Sartorius FC-series Explosion Proof Scales are Family Mutual Approved
for use in Class 1, Division I, Groups A,B,C,D hazardous environments.
Note that the power supply all FC Series IS NOT
INCLUDED and you must purchase separately either the YPS02-ZKR
Safe area power supply or the YPS02-XKR Hazardous area power
supply (requires installation by a licensed electrician).

What is meant by "Intrinsically Safe"?
Through the use of special components, materials, ratings
and component layouts, all electric circuits and inter-connected
cables are designed so that
a) no spark or
b) thermal effect is capable of causing ignition under fault conditions.
Intrinsically safe equipment can be isolated by Zener barriers
from non-intrinsically-safe circuits for data transfer to the
safe area
Basic principles of intrinsic safety:
Voltage limitation
Current limitation
Limitation of storable energy
Advantages of intrinsically safe protection
Equipment can be calibrated and maintained without removing
power
General purpose wiring methods can be used for connection
to power
No safety permits are required since the area does not
need to be “shut down” for servicing
Classification of Hazardous Locations in the
United States
Class
Class I - locations
in which hazardous concentrations of flammable gases or
vapors exist
Class II - locations
which are hazardous due to the presence of combustible
or electrically conductive dust of fibers
Division
Division 1 - present
continuously, intermittently or periodically during normal
operating conditions
Division 2 - not present
under normal operating conditions, but as a result of equipment
failure, breakdown of containers or abnormal operation
of ventilating equipment
Groups
Group A - atmospheres
containing acetylene
Group B - atmospheres
containing hydrogen, gases or vapors of equivalent hazard
such as natural gas
Group C - atmospheres
containing ethyl ether vapors, ethylene or cyclopropane
Group D - atmospheres
containing gasoline, hexane, naptha, benzine, butane, propane,
alcohol, acetone, benzol, lacquer solvent vapors or other
natural gases

Sartorius YDP20-0CE Statistical Printer
The YDP20-0CE data printer is designed to receive
weighing data from a connected weighing instrument
and print it on plain paper (roll width:
57.5 mm), with up to 24 characters per line.
The data printer is equipped with a real-time clock.
After the printer has been configured according to
the required settings, it is suitable for use as auxiliary
apparatus in legal metrology.
The following can be computed/printed out:
Number of weighing operations
Mean value
Standard deviation
Variation coefficient
Minimum value/weight
Maximum value/weight
Difference between the maximum and minimum value/weight
The YDP20-0CE data printer meets the quality standards
of the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, in
compliance with the requirements of GLP (Good Laboratory
Practice) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
In addition to recording individual weighing data, the
data printer can generate a statistical evaluation of
weighing data. All values transferred from an on-line
weighing instrument are stored. The following can be
printed out, depending on your printer configuration:
Number of weighing operations
Mean value
Standard deviation
Variation coefficient
Lowest measured value
Highest measured value
Difference between lowest and highest measured values
Date and time
Data is transferred either automatically or manually, at
the press of a key.
